ALICE ALYSE (Founder, CEO, Chairman)
Ms. Alice Alyse was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of Miami, Florida's New World School of the Arts,
winning the award of the highest achievement in Ballet. Ms. Alyse won the 1st place ballet award from the National
Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts and the National Foundation for Arts and Letters. She represented the
United States at the New York International Ballet Competition and was awarded the Outstanding Performance Diploma at the International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. She has danced professionally with the Miami City Ballet, Sarasota Ballet of Florida, and Maximum Dance. She has performed all over the U.S. and Europe dancing principal roles for the San Francisco Ballet. As an actress, Ms. Alyse was invited to study at the Lee Strasberg Institute by Mr. David Strasberg. She has worked in many films and has performed with theatre productions throughout Los Angeles. In December of 2003, Ms. Alyse was a member of the original cast of the First National Tour of the Broadway show "Movin' Out."
Ms. Alice Alyse has seen the hardships of the artistic individual, by observing others and her own first hand
accounts. She has wanted to create a safe haven, where entertainers have an organization they can turn to
for support emotionally and financially. The American Ballerina Foundation is an organization that is long
overdue, a place where the artist is protected, cared for and respected.
